FAQs

To whom do I report my accident?

Your insurance company or agent will collect the information regarding the claim and set up a claim file for you. He or she will provide you with a claim number to reference your file by and inform you how much your deductible is. Once your claim file is set up, Showtime will work directly with your insurance adjuster ensuring your claim is handled efficiently and that the process is seamless.

Will my insurance premium go up if I make a claim?

There are numerous variables that can affect insurance premiums, which differ from company to company and policy to policy. Our office team is unable to accurately predict whether your rates will increase after filing a claim, and we encourage you to contact you agent and/or handling adjuster for more information regarding your unique situation.

Who do I pay my deductible to?

If applicable, you pay your deductible directly to the body shop completing your repairs. We require your deductible to be paid in full by the time your vehicle is picked up after completion, whether handled up front, in multiple payments throughout the process, or in full, upon completion.

If I am not at fault and going through my own insurance, how long will it take to get my deductible paid back?

Unfortunately, there is no definite timeframe as to when, or if, your insurance company will get your deductible back. Every accident is unique and liability being accepted by the other party and/or insurance company depends on multiple factors and intercommunications. After your repairs are completed, you will be provided with documentation and receipts to share with your claims representative for follow-up regarding subrogation as it applies to your claim.

Do I need to obtain more than one estimate?

No. If insured, you are only responsible for your deductible. The most important thing is for you to get your vehicle repaired. All quality collision repair shops have pre-determined prices with the insurance companies.

Will Showtime contact my insurance company regarding my claim?

Showtime will handle processing the claim and communicating with the claims office for you. Since we are electronically linked to most insurance company’s computer systems, we are capable of sending the estimate directly to their claims office. Your insurance company will review our estimate and communicate approval to us usually within 48 hours.

How long does the repair process take?

The length of repair depends on multiple factors, including the extent and location of the damage, need for parts, insurance approvals, etc. We strive to keep you updated throughout the process with an estimated time for completion, whether via phone, text message, or email.

How do I obtain a rental car during the length of my repairs?

For convenience, we have partnered with Enterprise Rentals to provide rental vehicles to our guests during their repair experience. Your coverage on your policy and/or the insurance company handling your repairs will determine if coverage is available and how much they will cover during your repairs. We would be more than happy to help setup a reservation for you through Enterprise and make all the arrangements to have a vehicle on site for your scheduled drop-off.

What if additional damage is found on my vehicle after repairs have begun?

Showtime works directly with your insurance company to process your claim. A claims office re-inspector provides hands on claims management by visiting our facilities often to resolve any questions or decisions that we need their input on. If additional damage is found on your vehicle Showtime will bill these costs directly to your insurance company ensuring that you are never put in a situation where you owe more than your deductible.

Will my vehicle be the same after it is repaired?

Our team of professionals is one of the best in the business and each technician is trained and certified to repair your vehicle per OEM specifications. Following OEM procedures and guidelines for every repair, we ensure that every vehicle leaves our facility restored to pre-accident condition.
